Tribal Perspective Travel Guide for Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail- LECL: This is multi-year project will: increase public awareness and access to tribes and their stories through tourism along the Lewis and Clark National Historic trail; identify tribal tourism opportunities for the traveling public; improve both the quantity and quality of traveler experiences along the Trail to support both tribal communities and visitors. To increase public access to tribal perspectives and experiences along the Lewis and Clark NHT. Empower tribal communities along the trail to expand tourism and recreation to spur economic development, increase jobs, and increase tourism revenues while preserving their cultural heritage.
