U.S. Dance Troupe to Arts Festival in Tier-II City: The Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Consulate General in Mumbai (PAS Mumbai) seeks proposals for a project entitled “U.S. Dance Troupe to Arts Festival in Tier-II City.” Under this project, a grantee will organize and implement the travel to India of up to five members of a U.S. dance troupe for up to five days/four nights. The grantee would be responsible for identifying a prominent U.S. dance troupe of up to five members, coordinating the travel to Mumbai and a second city, organizing their performance at a major arts or cultural festival such as the Goa Arts & Literature Festival or the Kala Ghoda Festival in Mumbai, and arranging for two to three other interactions per program day such as performances, master classes, and workshops with groups such as the general public, dance students, and youth groups, in particular marginalized or at-risk youth.
