U.S.-MENA Experiential Partnership: Increaseing Economic and Local Governance Opportunities: As a force for promoting economic and political advancement, MEPI seeks projects that involve U.S.-MENA community members to work in peer-to-peer professional partnerships on local-level economic and governance issues. MEPI defines U.S.-MENA community members as Americans with linguistic and cultural ties to MENA and who have maintained professional relations with counterparts in the region. This project will leverage the talents of the U.S.-MENA community to improve policies and procedures at the local level. As a result, the U.S.-MENA Experiential Partnership will advance MEPI's strategic objectives by:• Improving policies and procedures that expand opportunities for entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises for economic growth and job creation; and• Enhancing efforts for local governments to be representative of, responsive to, and trusted by their citizens.
