Additional Information on Eligibility
Public or nonprofit institutions of higher education granting two- and four-year degrees in architecture, urban planning and design, or construction that are accredited by a national or regional accrediting agency and recognized by the US Department of Education are eligible to apply for funding under this program. A consortium of eligible institutions may apply for funding under this program, as long as one institution is designated the lead applicant. Grant Description
The Universities Rebuilding America Partnerships (URAP)- Community Design program provides funding to schools of architecture, urban planning and design, or construction at accredited two- and four-year colleges and universities to establish and operate partnerships with and for communities affected by Hurricane Katrina or Rita (or both).
