Upper Columbia Region - Methow Subbasin Habitat Improvement Project: This Funding Announcement is not a request for applications. This announcement is to provide public notice of the Bureau of Reclamation's intention to fund the following project activities without full and open competition. It is Reclamation's intent to enter into a Cooperative Agreement with Trout Unlimited - Washington Water Project (TU-WWP), whereby TU-WWP will be the project sponsor on four projects which will lead to stream habitat improvements and benefit anadromous fisheries in the Upper Columbia Region, Methow Subbasin(Subbasin), located in the state of Washington. TU-WWP has been Reclamation's Project Sponsor in the Subbasin for the past year on projects related to fish habitat protection and passage activities, and has been working to secure cost-sharing from Federal and non-Federal sources for project construction in this area. Therefore, Reclamation does not plan on making these funds available for competition because TU-WWP is the only Project Sponsor currently working with Reclamation on Federally-funded fish habitat projects that improve instream flow within the Upper Columbia Region, Methow Subbasin.
