- Grant Description
- The US Fish and Wildlife Service intends to award an agreement to the Utah State Division of Wildlife to provide for the implementation of the Virgin River Resource Management and Recovery Program (Program) by establishing a relationship between the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) and the State of Utah, Division of Wildlife Resources (Division). The implementation of the Program requires a coordinated, collaborative effort among the Service, the Division, and the Washington County Water Conservancy District (District)to achieve the goals of recovery and protection of the federally listed endangered and state conservation species while providing for continuing reasonable water development in the Virgin River Basin of Southwestern Utah. This agreement will be for a five-year period. Additional funding may be added through the life of the agreement subject to funds availability and appropriations.
