Grant Description
WILD plays an important role in convening and capacity-building within the international wilderness community. WILD organizes and manages the World Wilderness Congress, the only wilderness-focused international conservation event, held in a different region every 3-4 years. The next, and 9th World Wilderness Congress (WILD9), will be held in Merida, Mexico, November 6-13, 2009, taking place in Latin America for the first time.
