Water Conservation Program: The Bureau of Reclamation is requesting proposals for soil and moisture conservation. This funding opportunity will provide assistance in developing effective water management and conservation plans; encourage and promote implementation of water efficiency measures; demonstrate conservation technologies; and promote and support water education in the Yuma area. Total Federal assistance available is $50,000. Award of between 1 and 2 cooperative agreements will be made, generally not to exceed $50,000 per agreement. A cooperative agreement will be awarded to the responsive, responsible and eligible recipients and will be based on technical merit at the fixed assistance amount. Cost sharing or cost matching is required. Applications will be reviewed and evaluated by a technical panel.

Clarification to eligibility: Water User Entities is any individual, district, association, Government agency, or other entity that uses or contracts for water supplied from a Reclamation project.
