Water Resources Evaluation Program: The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a sole source Grant Agreement to Desert Research Institute, 2215 Raggio Parkway, Reno NV 89512, under the authority of CFDA 15.508, Public Law 107-171, Section 2507(a)(1)(b); Public Law 110-161, Section 208(a)(6) and Public Law 108-7, Sec 207(a)(1)(b). The purpose of this program is to provide funding to Desert Research Institute to prepare watershed inventories, with a particular focus on the Walker and Carson River basins for Water Resources Evaluation Program. The funded work will allow Nevada to better manage water resources. Period of performance is from the date of award to December 31, 2013. Estimated award date: on or about September 4, 2009. Estimated award amount: $3,300,000.00. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM 2, paragraph 2.14(B)(4) is solely within the discretion of the Government.
