Werowocomoco Exhibit for Gloucester Visitor Center: THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS This announcement is to provide public notice of the National Park Service's intention to award financial assistance for the following project activities. As described in Cooperative Agreement P17AC01337, this project will develop an array of exhibits at the Gloucester Visitor Center that will give visitors the opportunity to learn more about Captain John Smith's exploration of the region, his interactions at Werowocomoco and will increase awareness of the State's Indigenous people who were integral to the survival of the colony and who are still a vibrant contemporary community.
