Wildlife-camera monitoring: A. Project Goals ¿ The goal of this project is to partner with the recipient to support research internships with undergraduate-level students to participate in work related to conducting wildlife monitoring at Sonoran Desert Network and Chihuahuan Desert Network parks. B. Project Objectives ¿ The project objective will be to conduct multiple deployment, and subsequent retrievals, of digital camera-traps at locations throughout multiple SODN park units. Application of the protocol at additional parks located in the Chihuahuan Desert Network will be developed and piloted. The products of this collaboration will support park resource management and provide an important educational opportunity on parks.
