Grant Description

CDCs Procurement and Grants Office has published a funding opportunity announcement entitled, "Workplace Violence Prevention Research (R01)." Approximately $1,000,000 will be available in fiscal year 2008 to fund 2-3 awards. The purpose of the program is to reduce the risk of injuries due to violence in the workplace through the development and evaluation of new intervention strategies, the evaluation of existing interventions, and the adoption of these strategies into the workplace.
