- Perform in a cost-effective manner appropriate invasive species management projects on eligible service lands, as well as private or publicly managed lands collaborating with Partners for Fish and Wildlife programs at various locations throughout Colorado. Assist in performing research and public education tasks associated with natural and cultural resources. Perform other mission related projects which may include, but are not limited to, visitor enhancement or habitat restoration. Introduce young men and women to public service while furthering their understanding and appreciation of the Nation's natural and cultural resources. Stimulate interest among the Nation's young men and women in conservation careers by exposing them to conservation professionals in land managing agencies. Utilize the Recipient Network to manage youth corps to help enhance, improve and protect the environment on designated service and cooperating private or public lands. Additional funding is based on availability of funds.
