(BBAR) for the purpose of increasing community use and public awareness of Anacostia Park and the Anacostia River. As adjoining property owners with a common purpose, this collaborative partnership combines the Parties efforts to present the annual Anacostia River Festival. For this 2016 Task Agreement, the Anacostia River Festival will be a centennial event promoting the 100th Anniversary of the NPS and the Anacostia River. The festival will include educational programs about the areaâ¿¿s wildlife, history, and environmental significance; performing arts; creative art demonstrations, and recreation, to name a few.
