Abiotic Constraints to Survival of Lake Sturgeon Eggs and Age-0 with Implications for Restoration: The Coastal Program is a voluntary habitat conservation program that provides technical and financial assistance to partners for restoration projects that benefit Federal trust species. The service will provide $70,568 to Michigan Technological University to determine the physical characteristics needed for young lake sturgeon to survive in native habitat located in Michigan and Wisconsin. This will guide restoration actions in degraded rivers for the benefit of lake sturgeon, as well as conserve and protect other plants and animals native to the area.
