Announcement of Opportunity: Mars Scout 2006 and Missions of Opportunity: On or about May 25, 2006, Amendment No. 1 to the NASA Announcement of Opportunity "Mars Scout 2006 and Missions of Opportunity" (NNH06ZDA002O) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at http://nspires.nasaprs.com/ (select "Solicitations" then "Open Solicitations" then "NNH06ZDA002O"). =20 With this amendment, the following sections of the NASA Announcement of Opportunity NNH06ZDA002O, "Mars Scout 2006 and Missions of Opportunity," are changed: -- Section 6.1: General Constraints and Guidelines, is amended to preclude participation by SAIC as an offeror under this AO due to an unmitigatable organizational conflict of interest. -- Section 6.6.2: Management Plans and Structure for Flight Investigations, is amended to clarify the role and approval process for the Project Manager (PM). -- Section 8.2.4: Feasibility of the Mission Implementation, Including Cost Risk, is amended for consistency with changes to Section 6.6.2. =20 Questions may be addressed to Dr. Michael Meyer, Planetary Science Division, Science Mission Directorate, NASA Headquarters, Washington, DC 20546-0001; Telephone: (202) 358-0307; E-mail: [email protected].=20 =20
