Art and Heritage Conservationist Summit: The Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi (PAS New Delhi) seeks proposals for a project entitled “Art and Heritage Conservationist Summit.” Under this project, a grantee will bring together 30 conservationists from across India (at least 10 being alumni of the Art Conservationist Fellowship) to meet for two full days in New Delhi. The objective of the two day meeting is to draft a plan to create India's first modern conservationist lab. The plan should include a listing of the equipment needed, the structure of the lab, how the lab will be administered, safety features, a process through which conservationists from across India can apply to use the lab's facilities, training and support for using the lab, a maintenance plan for ensuring that the equipment is well maintained, a monitoring and evaluation strategy and any other aspects needed to launch a India-relevant, modern conservation lab at an easily accessible location that is open to all conservationist professionals.
