Assessment of Atrazine in Agricultural Watersheds in Kentucky: This notice announces the availability of funds and solicits applications to support activities that assist in assessing the pesticide atrazine and its effects in agricultural watersheds in Kentucky. The goal of Region 4's Pesticides Program is to ensure that registered pesticides are used in accordance with label directions and that this use does not result in unreasonable harm to either human health or the environment. Use regulation is accomplished through cooperative agreements with the respective State Lead Agencies (SLAs) within each Region 4 state.
