BLM-CO Community Fire Assistance: The Department of Interior and its Bureaus implement strategies to mitigate the effects of wildfire and restore burned acres damaged by fire, support communities that are at high risk from wildfire by assisting in the development of wildfire action plans, and effectively use capabilities to respond quickly when fire strikes.
