Biological Science Technician Experience in Conservation, Restoration, and Research: This project is to provide experience and education to a Biological Science Technician to conduct various biological duties which may include but are not necessarily limited to predator control, invasive plants, survey and monitoring of waterbirds, sea turtle nests, and shorebirds. Technician may also receive experience monitoring for and respond to avian botulism outbreaks, data entry, preparation of status reports, grow and outplant native plants, serve as a Resource Monitor and assist with various research projects. Additionally, the technician may assist with preparation of cultural presentations and coordinate meeting logistics and events.
