Capacity Building Assistance for High-Impact HIV Prevention: Toward meeting the vision and goals of the National HIV/AIDS Strategy (NHAS), CDC will institute Community High-Impact Prevention (CHIP), a new initiative to shift programmatic efforts of capacity building organizations to further maximize prevention impact to reduce HIV infections and related morbidity, mortality, and health disparities across the United States and its territories. PS14-1403 will support the single, flagship program that fully reflects CDC’s new direction for providing high quality capacity building assistance (CBA) services for health departments, community-based organizations (CBOs), and healthcare organizations to plan, implement, and sustain a high-impact approach to HIV prevention based on scientifically-proven, cost effective, and scalable interventions directed to populations who need it most.
