Comprehensive Hemophilia Diagnostic and Treatment Centers: The purpose of this grant activity is to establish a program to support the provision of comprehensive care for people with hemophilia and their families through an integrated regional network of centers in the diagnosis and treatment of hemophilia and related bleeding disorders. Grants will be used to promote: (1) maintenance and enhancement of comprehensive care teams to meet the medical, psycho-social, peer support, and genetic counseling needs of individuals and their families, throughout their lifetime including the transition from pediatric to adult care; (2) continued outreach to unserved and under served people with congenital bleeding disorders; and (3) continued collaboration with hemophilia treatment centers within the defined area and promotion of family-centered care within the client population.
