Continuation and Expansion of the Drug Induced Liver Injury Network (DILIN)[U01]: -The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement is to solicit applications from qualified investigators for the continuation and expansion of the Drug-induced Liver Injury Network (DILIN). This network will consist of up to 8 clinical center sites and a single data coordinating center. -The total amount to be awarded and the anticipated number of awards. The NIDDK intends to commit approximately $3,250,000 per year for the duration of the study. Contingent upon the number of meritorious applications, it is anticipated that the number of awards issued under this FOA will be for up to eight Clinical Centers (CC) and one data Coordinating Center (DCC). Awards issued under this FOA are contingent upon the availability of funds and the submission of a sufficient number of meritorious applications. -Because the nature and scope of the proposed research will vary from application to application, it is anticipated that the size and duration of each award will also vary. The total amount awarded and the number of awards will depend upon the mechanism numbers, quality, duration, and costs of the applications received.
