Contraceptive Development Research Centers Program (U54): The purpose of this FOA is to announce the re-competition of the Contraceptive Development Research Centers Program. The aim of the program is to conduct a wide range of research, both basic and applied, with the ultimate goal of developing clinically useful contraceptive products. These centers provide a multidisplinary approach to high quality translational research programs in the area of contraceptive product discovery and development. The Centers will also serve as a national resource for career development of young scientists electing to pursue research in contraceptive development.
