Cooperative Agreement for CESU-affiliated Partner with Colorado Plateau Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit: The Southwest Biological Science Center of the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) is offering a funding opportunity to one member of the Colorado Plateau Cooperative Ecosystems Studies Unit (CESU) Program. The goal of this project is to promote continued cooperation between the USGS and a CESU Partner in order to support research and monitoring of riparian vegetation along the Colorado River in Grand Canyon using remote sensing and mapping. This project will continue a significant partnership between USGS and CESU Partner's researchers to address questions of mutual interest related to mapping and monitoring riparian vegetation and landcover within the riparian zone of the Colorado River at the landscape scale.
