Cooperative Agreement for the Development, Operation, and Evaluation of an Entertainment Education Program: The purpose of this program is raise awareness and behavioral change concerning public health issues through the use of the television media as means of accessing the television viewing public by providing (1) accurate public health information and public health issues, as well as accurate depictions of healthy living at all stages of life, to entertainment industry leadership for possible inclusion in television storylines; (2) assistance with public health outreach, including providing additional information concerning public health topics depicted on television storylines, and assistance with public service announcements and informational short videos to be aired in conjunction with drama presentations; (3) evaluation of public health television storylines and the effect on the viewing public.
