- Assistance will be provided only to the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), Kingdom of Thailand. No other applications are solicited. The BMA is the most appropriate and qualified agency to conduct the activities specified under this cooperative agreement because: The BMA is the sole organization in the City of Bangkok government and only organization that possesses the requisite scientific and technical expertise with the infrastructure capacity to accomplish the activities under this program requirement. The BMA, as the City Government of Bangkok, is uniquely positioned in terms of legal authority, mandate and ability to manage public health programs, oversee and safeguard public health, and to collect and analyze information and disseminate surveillance and health system performance reports related to multiple health issues in Bangkok.
