Demographic Surveillance System Support in the Republic of Mozambique under the President's Emergency: The purpose of this FOA is to increase understanding of the public health context of the HIV epidemic inMozambique, increase understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of public health programs forprevention and control of HIV, and build public health capacity for surveillance. In turn, this will result inimproved targeting of public health interventions and improvement of public health programs which willultimately result in decreased incidence of HIV in Mozambique.
