Documenting Traditional Ecological Knowledge of Snow and Ice Conditions and of Caribou Herds in Wrangell-St. Elias National Park & Preserve: The goals and objectives of this project are to collect traditional ecological knowledge and other historical information on historic dynamics of caribou herds and of winter environmental conditions and their impacts on subsistence access with the overall goal of contributing to the management of caribou herds that spend time in Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve, including an update of the management plan for the Mentasta caribou herd.
