Enhancing the Capacity for Biomedical Research on Tuberculosis for HIV-infected Mothers and Children in India (R01): Cohort Research Units have been newly established in India through collaborations between the U.S. and Indian governments, investigators, and institutions in order to develop longitudinal cohorts of TB patients and their contacts (including patients with HIV and TB co-infection) and fundamental research laboratories.
