Exploiting RNA as a Target for HIV Interventions (R21): The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to: (1) investigate the role of viral and cellular long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) in the regulation of HIV replication, pathogenesis, latency, immunity, and gene expression; (2) exploit lncRNAs for the development of novel HIV interventions; and (3) exploit advances in RNA structural biology to identify novel targets for HIV intervention and functional cure.
