Great Lakes Restoration Initiative Grants to Support Great Lakes Tribal Aquatic Invasive Species Management Plans: Under FY13 appropriations to the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) anticipates providing grants to support development and implementation of Great Lakes Tribal Aquatic Invasive Species Management Plans (Plans). Grant awards will be used by tribes for activities that directly relate to the protection and restoration of the Great Lakes and Great Lakes Basin. Proposals, which are submitted from Great Lakes tribes under this process, will be evaluated on the basis of documentation provided, in the grant proposal, on factors including, documentation that describes intent to complete a Plan and documentation that describes intent to implement a completed Plan.Further information about the process and requirements can be found in the Notice of Funds Available (NOFA) for this grant.
