Habitat Restoration, Improvement and Planning Program in South-Central California Area Offices Central Valley Project Area of Responsibility: The South-Central California Area Office has determined for Fiscal Year 2007 to provide funding opportunities for those interested entities to restore or improve habitat for species listed under the Endangered Species Act (ESA), and to provide for planning efforts for habitat conservation for listed species. This program is undertaken with the intent to improve the baseline conditions for listed species that have been affected adversely by the construction, implementation, operations, and maintenance of the Central Valley Project (CVP) in the West San Joaquin (San Luis Unit), Delta, San Felipe, and Friant Divisions of the CVP. This opportunity is not associated with the CVP Conservation Program, CVP Habitat Restoration Program, San Luis Drainage Feature Re-evaluation Project, or the San Joaquin River Restoration Program.
