Hosting the United States-Colombia Secretariat for Environmental Matters: The Bureau of Oceans and International Environmental and Scientific Affairs (OES) Office of Environmental Quality and Transboundary Issues at the Department of State, in consultation with the Republic of Colombia, announces this funding opportunity for hosting the United States-Colombia Secretariat for Environmental Matters (Secretariat), an Environment Chapter obligation (see Articles 18.8 and 18.9) of the United States-Colombia Trade Promotion Agreement (TPA). The Secretariat will receive and process citizen complaints or submissions asserting that a Party is failing to effectively enforce its environmental laws. Such submissions shall follow guidelines laid out in the Environment Chapter. The agreement awarded will be for up to $150,000 U.S. Dollars (USD) in FY 2015 Economic Support Funds (ESF).
