Hosting the United States-Colombia Secretariat for Environmental Matters: The Bureau of Oceans and International Environmental and Scientific Affairs™ (OES) Office of Environmental Quality and Transboundary Issues at the Department of State, in consultation with the Republic of Colombia, announces this funding opportunity for hosting the United States-Colombia Secretariat for Environmental Matters (Secretariat), an Environment Chapter obligation (see Articles 18.8 and 18.9) of the United States-Colombia Trade Promotion Agreement (TPA). The Secretariat will receive and process citizen complaints or submissions asserting that a Party is failing to effectively enforce its environmental laws. Such submissions shall follow guidelines laid out in the Environment Chapter. The agreement awarded will be for up to $150,000 U.S. Dollars (USD) in FY 2015 Economic Support Funds (ESF).
