Improving Public Health in Refugee Camps and Migrants in Thailand: The purpose of the program is to assist Premiere Urgence-Aide Medicale Internationale (PU-AMI), a non-governmental health care organization operating in three refugee camps and along the border in Tak Province, Thailand, in establishing and implementing systems to detect, prevent and control non-communicable and communicable infectious diseases, including infectious respiratory diseases, and leading causes of morbidity and mortality in camps with U.S.-bound refugees and migrants in the Thai-Burma border region.
