Integration of Midwest Region Cultural Landscapes in the Facility Management Software System: This announcement is not a request for applications. This announcement is to provide public notice of the National Park Service's intention to award a task agreement under a previously competed or single source justified master cooperative agreement P15AC00031. BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: Cooperative Agreement P15AC00031 was entered into by and between the Department of the Interior, National Park Service (NPS), and The Student Conservation Association, Inc. (SCA) for the purpose of building the next generation of conservation leaders and inspire lifelong stewardship of our environment and communities by engaging young people in hands-on service to the land through service opportunities, outdoor skills, and leadership training. STATEMENT OF WORK: Integration of Midwest Region cultural landscapes into the Facility Management System (FMSS) database; translate Cultural Landscapes Inventory (CLI) and Cultural Landscape Reports (CLRs) data into FMSS by asset type, location and asset record including condition assessment information using crosswalk spreadsheets and hierarchy diagrams; edit FMSS data in the CLR and List of Classified Structures (LCS) databases; prepare updates to the CLI and LCS; conduct field work in support of the FMSS, CLI and LCS inventories; assist with public outreach to raise awareness of Midwest Region cultural landscapes; ensure the FMSS CLI and LCS inventories are uniform throughout the NPS and integrate well in the massive system maintained for the NPS. RECIPIENT AGREES TO: Place and maintain a qualified individual who is accepted to the NPS for the SCA position with a full-time work schedule; provide intern's duty related travel during service; maintain administrative records for the intern. NATIONAL PARK SERVICE AGREES TO: Provide project oversight and direction on assignments for intern; conduct initial orientation on NPS to improve knowledge, skills and abilities of intern and ensure properly equipped to successfully perform all assigned activities.
