Inter-tribal Techncial Assistance Energy Providers Network: As a means of providing informational resources and technical assistance to Indian tribes (including Alaska Native regional corporations and village corporations) on a regional basis, the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Indian Energy Policy and Programs (Office of Indian Energy) is considering providing financial and technical assistance to Inter-tribal Organizations.
The (DOE) Office of Indian Energy is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to gain input from Inter-tribal Organizations, Indian tribes (including Alaska Native regional corporations and village corporations) and other interested stakeholders on its efforts to develop an Inter-tribal Technical Assistance Energy Provider Network.
The information collected may be used for internal Office of Indian Energy planning and decision-making purposes in its continuing efforts to spur energy development in Indian Country, provide information to permit Tribal leaders to make informed decisions regarding their energy resources, and to build human capacity such that Indian energy projects can be sustained.
