Internship for Heritage Areas Program: This is NOT a request for applications. This is just a public notice that NPS and SCA have entered into a task agreement under the existing cooperative agreement P15AC00031. Specifically, the Student Conservation Association agrees to:1. Assist with recruitment and selection for the Intern position of National Heritage Areas Program Communications Coordinator.2. Provide a travel allowance for the Intern while living within commuting distance of their duty station, a housing allowance during their internship, and provide subsistence for the Intern during their tour of duty.3. Coordinate with National Park Service to oversee, direct and take corrective measures including but not limited to issues of conduct for the Intern provide to the National Park Service4. Maintain administrative records for the Intern. 5. Provide administrative support for the intern while participating in the program.6. Provide a cost share of 25% of the total cost of the project as the required match to National Park Service funds provided under this task agreement.
