Maintaining and Strengthening Institutional Capacity of Maputo City Province Health Directorate in Mozambique under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR): The Award Ceiling for Year 1 is 0 (none). CDC anticipates an Approximate Total Fiscal Year Funding amount of $350,000 for Year 1, subject to the availability of funds. This NOFO will focus on strengthening the institutional capacity of the Provincial Health Directorate (DPS) in Maputo City Province to develop, plan, and coordinate the HIV program in Maputo City. This NOFO will also strengthen leadership oversight and coordination of PEPFAR HIV prevention, care, support, and treatment services in the city. Furthermore, this NOFO will promote collaboration of PEPFAR implementing partners and key stakeholders involved in HIV service delivery in Maputo City in order to improve the service delivery models and strengthen the health system. Altogether, a larger role of DPS Maputo City Province will ensure sustained control of the HIV epidemic.
