Maintenance and Operations for Herat and Balkh Universities Women s Dorms: The Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan is pleased to announce an open competition for assistance awards through this Request for Grant Proposals (RFGP). PAS Kabul invites all eligible organizations (see Section IV for Eligibility Requirements) to submit a proposal for maintaining and operating the Female Students Dorms on the campuses of Herat and Balkh Universities.
The successful applicant will demonstrate the following experience:
- managing budgets and complex human resources;
- working in Afghanistan, especially with vendors, suppliers, contractors, etc.;
- working with Afghan government institutions, particularly the Ministry of Higher Education and Afghan public universities;
- working in Herat and Mazar-e Sharif.
