Mentored Career Award for Faculty at Minority Institutions (K01): -Purpose. This FOA issued by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, National Institutes of Health, solicits applications from suitable faculty members holding doctoral degrees, such as the Ph.D., M.D., D.O., D.V.M., or an equivalent degree, to undertake special study and supervised research under a mentor who is an accomplished investigator in the research area proposed and has experience in developing independent investigators.
