Miller Pocket & Willow Creek Protection Fence Project: The Miller Pocket fence project involves the construction of a 3/4 mile "buck and pole" fence to protect sensitive riparian vegetation and a historical trappers cabin. The project location is within the Split Rock Wilderness Study Area (WSA). The Willow Creek riparian fence involves the construction of approximately ½ mile of "buck and pole" fencing. The purpose of this project is to protect and improve riparian habitat along the Willow Creek drainage near South Pass City in Southwestern Wyoming. The project requires dispersing fencing materials on site; assisting with the actual fence construction; and cleaning up both sites after the work is complete. Additionally, BLM would be training, developing and educating participants in the principles and practices of resource management and conservation.
