Motor Vehicle Injury Prevention: Evaluation of Increased Nighttime Enforcement of Seatbelt Use: The purpose of this research is to determine the effects of substantially increasing nighttime seatbelt use enforcement, combined with strong and targeted publicity components and community involvement, on nighttime seatbelt use and morbidity and mortality due to motor vehicle crashes. Projects may be either a) program development accompanied by piloting the program and a pilot evaluation or b) evaluation of an existing program already implemented in a state or local municipalities.
