NIJ FY06 Data Resources Program 2006: Funding for the Analysis of Existing Data: With this solicitation, NIJ requests proposals to replicate previous findings and conduct original research extending data from the National Archive of Criminal Justice Data (NACJD). NACJD houses quantitative and qualitative data from NIJs sponsored research and makes it available online as downloadable, machine-readable files (in SPSS, SAS, or ASCII) together with data dictionaries, study abstracts, and, in limited cases, geographic data (in MapInfo or ESRI formats). The archive is maintained by the Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) at the University of Michigan and is supported by NIJ.
