NOTICE OF INTENT: Memorials for the Future: The Sphere Transformed: This Task Agreement is modified to increase the scope of the Modern Memorial Challenge/
Memorials for the Future project to further expand the dialogue around who, what, and how we commemorate through memorialization. The Van Alen Institute and the National Park Service will host two site-based workshops or similar types of activity to engage the public on the topics of memory, identity and placemaking. Projects will focus on NPS or NHL resources located in communities that are struggling with issues of commemoration. Programs will be based in New York City and on additional location (tbd).
