NOTICE OF INTENT TO FUND TASK AGREEMENT - ISRO Conservation Corps of MN & Iowa: NOTICE OF INTENT TO FUND A TASK AGREEMENT UNDER A MASTER AGREEMENT
The Conservation Corps of Minnesota and Iowa (the Recipient/CCMNIA) was awarded a Master Cooperative Agreement (P16AC00009) to provide meaningful work for young people in managing natural resources, responding to disasters, conserving energy and leading volunteers. Conservation Corps Minnesota and Iowa (CCMNIA), provides training in resource management, safety, job-readiness and technical skills, and helps young people develop personal responsibility, a strong work ethic and greater awareness of environmental stewardship.
This is a scope of work that is planned for the CCMNIA project working with Isle Royale National Park Service for the 2016 summer season. CCMNIA trail crews will work on the East Chickenbone Trail Rehabilitation Project. Work includes trail brushing, erosion control, reroute of trail, rock/root removal, grading of trail and board walk construction. WCC will also assist Park Staff with Helicopter Operations around Chickenbone area and Isle Royale National Park spotting boardwalk materials in backcountry.
