NOTICE of INTENT: Lake Meredith National Recreation Area Multi-use Trail System Project: Cooperative Agreement Number P15AC00015 was entered into by and between the Department of the Interior, National Park Service and American Conservation Experience for the purpose of the involvement of youth in the care and enhancement of public resources. The terms and conditions as stated in the Cooperative Agreement will apply to this Task Agreement.
Lake Meredith National Recreation Area Multi-use Trail System Project
This project will engage youth members of American Conservation Experience to assist in part with trail construction and repair in undeveloped areas. This scope of work identifies tasks associated with general site preparations and trail construction, vegetation removal and removal of other elements not wanted on the trail tread, for approximately 8 miles of new trail and repair rehab of existing trail as needed. The new trail opens an area of the park few visitors have experienced previously.
