Nathan Shock Centers of Excellence in Basic Biology of Aging: The National Institute on Aging (NIA) invites applications for support of centers, known as Nathan Shock Centers of Excellence in Basic Biology of Aging. These Center grants will provide funding for research and training activities related to basic biology of aging. They are intended for institutions with a substantial investment in and commitment to aging research, but they are not intended to directly support clinical research or clinical trials.
