Native American Technical Assistance Program - Yuma Area Office: The Bureau of Reclamation is requesting proposals for Native American technical assistance conservation projects. This funding opportunity will provide funds for projects for technical assistance for the use, protection, or development of water-related assets. Total Federal assistance available is $90,000. One award of a grant or cooperative agreement will be made, generally not to exceed $90,000. A grant or cooperative agreement will be awarded to the responsive, responsible and eligible recipient and will be based on technical merit at the fixed assistance amount. Cost sharing or cost matching is not required. All applications shall be reviewed and evaluated by a technical panel. <p> Funding Notice - Funds for FY2007 are presently not available. The amount of funding - if any - will not be known until Congress passes an appropriations bill for FY 2007. Reclamation is currently operating under a Continuing Resolution. No new awards will be made under this announcement until an appropriations bill is passed that contains appropriations for the purposes of this announcement.
