Natural and cultural resource projects: Project work will include but is not limited to assisting the division with exotic plant and insect control, water quality monitoring, cave environment monitoring, ginseng marking and model ground truthing, bat monitoring and many other resource management projects. The student will be trained in plant and insect identification, GPS/GIS operation, safety in pesticide application, and other safety topics as appropriate.
